The 27th Annual Chile & Frijoles Festival is being planned in full force! After a year of downsized events, we are happy to announce we are planning at full scale. The event features live entertainment, street vendors, cooking competitions, and chilies, chilies, chilies! Held downtown along Union Avenue, the festival draws Pueblo residents as well as people from across the state and around the nation.

The festival will heat things up with the Chile & Salsa Showdown. The food competition will be held at the Pueblo Convention Center.
Saturday, September 25th at the Pueblo Convention Center
Winners of each category for the commercial entries will receive $500 along with bragging rights.
Sunday, September 26th at the Pueblo Convention Center
Entries will be awarded prizes for the top three places; first place will receive $100, second place will receive $50 and third place will receive $25.
